The mission of Rainbow House is to keep children safe and to support families in crisis through prevention, assessment, and intervention in child abuse and neglect. This is facilitated by many services, which includes the Children’s Emergency Shelter, Regional Child Advocacy Center, Homeless Youth Program and Clinical Programs.

The mission of Rain-Central Missouri, Inc. is to provide comprehensive STD, HIV and Hepatitis education, early detection and care coordination for at-risk individuals, families and communities. Their vision is to implement effective strategies that promote positive health for those impacted by or at risk for STD, HIV and Hepatitis health issues. RAIN serves special populations by providing health and educational resources, testing, referrals and other assistance for unfulfilled needs.

In 2011, three psychologists began meeting with the intention of forming a network of health care professionals specifically focused on increasing and improving health care services to trans-identified individuals in our community. T-Net has grown to include physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, a nurse, and additional psychologists, many from numerous health care settings. This website is designed to share the most recent list of trans-friendly providers in our network.

WestMo A.F.T.E.R. serves as a bridge between the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, asexual and straight communities at Westminster College, and as a constructive forum where members of the Westminster community can express themselves without binding claim to sexual orientation, thereby working toward the greater goal of the understanding and acceptance of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning and asexual individuals in society.
