The Fenway Institute is an interdisciplinary center for research, training, education, and policy development, focusing on national and international health issues.  Our mission is to ensure access to quality, culturally competent medical and mental health care for traditionally underserved communities, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and those affected by HIV/AIDS.

FORGE

FORGE provides peer support primarily to those on the female-to-male (FTM) gender spectrum and local Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies (SOFFAs). Over the years, our scope has grown to include everyone in the transgender community, and many of our programs have become national. You’ll find information about the training and technical assistance we provide, plus descriptions of our major current projects.

FTMResourceGuide

This Guide is intended to provide information on topics of interest to female-to-male (FTM, F2M) trans men, and their friends and loved ones. Non-trans men have also found the pages on men’s grooming and clothing to be helpful. Transsexual, non-transsexual, intersex, transgender, genderqueer, questioning, and “just plain folks” are all welcome.

GeeksOut

Geeks OUT rallies, empowers and promotes the queer geek community.

Ours is a diverse and growing culture made up of enthusiastic fans of all ages, colors, genders, sizes, and nationalities. Through regular events and a dynamic social media and online presence, Geeks OUT seeks to facilitate interaction locally, globally, and virtually, both to celebrate our shared geekiness and to focus and promote our own unique LGBT voice within that community.

Geeks OUT aims to offer and maintain a visible and vivacious queer presence at geek events, fostering inclusivity and openness within our community. By hosting a booth at conventions, we highlight the fact that LGBT fans are an integral part of geek culture, encouraging greater participation and representation for this generation of queer fans and the next.
