AIDS Project of the Ozarks (APO) is a non-profit community-based organization serving a 29 county region in southwest Missouri. APO currently serves over 600 clients with HIV/AIDS and their families.

The LikeMe Lighthouse is a LGBT Center in Kansas City that provides a broad array of services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The Lighthouse is a multi-faceted community center and a place for LGBT individuals, their families and friends to call HOME! The Lighthouse serves as a community hub to discover resources, attend social gatherings and listen to educational speakers.  Working together, we will spread LIKEME’s message of inclusion and build a brighter future for Kansas City.

NAMI-KC is the only organization which specifically supports the mentally ill and the family members of the mentally ill throughout the greater Kansas City area. NAMI-KC serves as an information center, including referrals on services needed. We provide educational seminars and reference materials related to mental illness.

At Pathways, we’re giving young adults who are homeless or living in out-of-home care the chance to develop the life skills they need to be successful. The Pathways Program operates scattered-site apartments in Kansas City and Wichita. It serves young men and women, as well as young parents with children.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons, their families, and their friends through support, education, and advocacy. PFLAG provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity. The Mid-Missouri/Columbia Chapter meets on the first Thursday at 7:00PM at The Center Project, 300 St. James, STE 104, Columbia, Missouri.

The Jefferson City Chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) is an organization comprised of the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, dedicated to celebrating diversity and envisioning a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.
