Established in 1905, the Forest Service is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service manages public lands in national forests and grasslands. Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the Forest Service, summed up the mission of the Forest Service— “to provide the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people in the long run.” National forests and grasslands encompass 193 million acres of land, which is an area equivalent to the size of Texas.

Phat Gurl Fit is St. Louis’ newest low impact, fun and effective dance cardio fitness program designed for the LGBTQ community (and led by members of the community!). Classes are offered at the St. Ann Community Center and the O’Fallon Park Rex Plex YMCA.

Pridefloat is about a bunch of gay guys and gals from all over the Mid-West (mostly Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and Illinois) camping together for five days and four nights, floating on the river, and having a good time.

The St. Louis SLAM is a women’s tackle football team that welcomes players from both Missouri and Illinois.  There are only a few requirements:

  • Players must be 18 years or older
  • Proof of health insurance is required
  • A desire to want to learn the game of football and get in better shape doing it!

Absolutely NO experience is necessary.  Our coaching staff will teach you everything you need to know about playing football, including how to reduce the risk of injury and get in shape!
