PRIZM is UMSL’s Queer-Straight Student Alliance.  It is our goal to create and maintain an inclusive, safe and accepting environment on our campus for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We aim to defeat negative stereotypes and educate people by sponsoring social events and activities on campus throughout the school year.  We usually meet biweekly throughout the academic year.

PFLAG is a national support group for parents, families and friends of lesbians and gays. Free of charge, open to the public. Meets monthly on the last Tuesday evening at 7 PM in the rotunda of the College Center building on the campus of St.Charles Community College.

Since 1973 parents have joined together in different cities to support each other and their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) children or family members. We meet the third Saturday of the month at the Holy Communion Episcopal Church, located (two blocks east of Hanley Road) at 7401 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri  63130.  We begin our meetings at 7:00 pm and usually end around 10:00 pm.

We are a non-profit, volunteer service organization working to fill the gaps in services in the Saint Louis area by mobilizing the LGBT community and its friends through our own programming and collaboration with other local organizations.

Lavender Lotus is a supportive network organization based in the St. Louis area for Asian & Pacific Islander American individuals who identify as LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, etc.). We organize activities that range from potlucks, movie nights, bike rides, casual afternoons at a coffeehouse, etc., as well as partake in events at the annual Pridefest.

The I Care Campaign is for everybody in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area who cares about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and ally issues. These issues include Suicide, Homelessness, HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention, Older Adults, and Hate Crimes.

We meet the first Wednesday of every month at The SPOT in the Central West End in St. Louis. If you are youth (13-24) and are self-identified as transgender or gender variant or you wonder if you might be, say so in your request to join and you will be welcomed.
